When I went to Houston to run the marketing module of a small business development program, Marlon offered a slab of ribs to me.  That’s what he and his family does: Texas barbeque.  He runs Brooks Family Foods, which sells pork sausage, ribs, and sauces and rubs.  I had to refuse his generous offer: I was staying overnight in Houston and had no way of storing the pack of vacuum-packed ribs until and during my long flight back to Boston.  I’m told that his ribs are incredible, though.
