Marc is on the Cambridge School Committee, and I met him at a fundraising barbeque at our kids’ day care provider. Turns out that my wife has known him for decades; they went to the same high school together (Cambridge Rindge & Latin). She used to call him ‘Dooz’ back then. Still does.
